Here is one of the character illustrations I did for a client.
I have started using a rough PBR work flow for my 2d illustrations.
The process is really fast, Used Daz for a quick pose and base mesh, exported that in to Zbrush, added armor and few details in Zbrush, exported that in Painter with rough UVs, textured it, compiled everything in Marmoset, rendered it in few passes and finished in Photoshop.
Its amazing how fast you can make a character illustration by mixing some techniques.
