The Glassworker Backgrounds - Airship

Back in 2024, Pakistan saw the release of its first ever 2D animated film, The Glassworker. I became part of this project a little over 3 years prior to the release, as a 2D matte painter for backgrounds. Working on over a 100 backgrounds for The Glassworker pushed boundaries within me that I didn't know existed; from adapting the beautiful Ghibli-style painting technique to maneuvering first-time parenthood; this film will forever be closest to my heart.
